Eaves ventilation products are used as a traditional method of providing low level, or eaves ventilation in a pitched roof. The amount of ventilation required for a roof is defined by BS 5250: The Management of Moisture in Buildings, and is required to remove any build up of moisture which can lead to potentially harmful condensation. Cold loft spaces can be particularly prone to condensation as warm air enters this space from the rooms below.
