Protect FrameSafe FR is a high performance, Class A2 flame retardant wall breather membrane, designed for use on the external side of the frame to integrate with closed jointed façade wall structures on low, medium and high rise buildings.
Protect FrameSafe FR exceeds Building Regulations Approved Document B for fire safety for structures over 11m in height, with suitability for higher risk buildings as defined in the Building Safety Act. This ensures peace of mind and assurance in specification, being future proofed against future regulation changes.
Featuring an intricately woven glass fibre fabric with a uniquely developed waterproof and fire resistant coating, Protect FrameSafe FR provides a primary line of protection to the whole of the external wall during the construction process and once built ensures a second line of defence against rainwater penetration, whilst offering added protection against fire spread.
